Description:
Bulban road culvert creates an overpass that interconnects lakes and waterways offering a range of different water experiences from lakeside walk trails in the new Harpley estate in Werribee.
Works involved:
– Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete of culvert base slab, Culvert wing walls and upstand walls.
– Install of 80+ Precast box culverts.
– Excavation and backfill around the culvert.
Equipment and efficiencies utilised:
Turnkey project for client, Bridgecon worked through the design stage with the design engineers and altered the wing walls to better utilise formwork systems and speed up the program.
Bridgecon completed works from start to finish, from excavation to finished product.
Site & project engineer, site foreman dedicated to site with presents of company owner for over 75% of the project to ensure coordination/communication and consistency of work quality was kept to the highest standard.

– 40 Tonne Hydraulic Crane
– Franna cranes
– 14 & 35 tonne excavators
– Tipper trucks, rollers, materials handlers, utility vehicles and service vehicles
