Description:
Part of Bridgecon’s package was to FRP new walls and footpaths to create a new shared walking and cycling paths.
Works involved:
-Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete of base slab, single sided walls, upstand walls and footpaths.
Equipment and efficiencies utilised:
Site foreman& project engineer dedicated to site with presents of company owner for over 65% of the project to ensure coordination/communication and consistency of work quality was kept to the highest standard. In house form systems were designed to complete curved walls. This speeded up construction times and ensured the barrier finishes finished to a high and accurate standard.
Plant used on site:
–Franna cranes
– 14 & 35 tonne excavators
-Tipper trucks, materials handlers, utility vehicles and service vehicles.
