Harpley Boardwalk Bridges

Description:
Harpley extension consists of two steel boardwalk bridges that creates a pedestrian walkway over that will connect the new town centre with the new manmade lake.

Works involved:
-Piling and detailed excavations.
-Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete of piers, footings and bridge abutments.
-Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete of 100 creek wall.
-Fabrication of steel bridges, over 150m combined. Shopdrawn and fabricated in house.
-Crane works

Equipment and efficiencies utilised:
Bridgecon have self-fabricated& have shop drawn both steelbroadwalk bridges, which will be installed using our 100T crane.
Site & project engineer, site foreman dedicated to site with presents of company owner for over 85% of the project to ensure coordination/communication and consistency of work quality was kept to the highest standard. Bridgecon completed our own inspection & test plans on our works to ensure everything was completed to a high standard to satisfy Vic roads standards.
