Description:
36km of new lanes on the Monash and Princes Freeways have been added, which required Bridgecon to construct 9 large Pier protection Barriers.
Works involved:
-Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete Pier protection barriers.
-Over 450 m3 of concrete poured.
Equipment and efficiencies utilised:
Site & site foreman dedicated to site with presents of company owner for over 85% of the project to ensure coordination/communication and consistency of work quality was kept to the highest standard. In house form systems were designed to complete pier protection barriers. This speeded up construction times and ensured the barrier finishes finished to a high and accurate standard.

-Materials handlers, utility vehicles and service vehicles
